Heather S. Karmeris is an accomplished marital and family law attorney, with about a decade experience in extensive litigation wins in the most complex and high-net worth divorce cases involving extensive forensic accounting. Mrs. Karmeris has been recognized as Expertise Top 20 Best Divorce Lawyer in West Palm Beach, American Academy of Attorneys, Top 40 Under 40. With a strong dedication to her clients’ needs, Mrs. Karmeris is skilled in both litigation and high conflict resolution. Her extensive experience includes clerking for a Florida Unified Family Court Circuit Judge, working for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (“DCF”), and serving as a Guardian Ad Litem (“GAL”), children’s best interest advocate for the 15th Judicial Circuit of Palm Beach County.
Admitted to the Florida and Texas Bar, she graduated from Florida A&M University College of Law (Orlando) with a Juris Doctor degree and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida.
Mrs. Karmeris is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida, United States District Court Southern District of Florida, and the State of Texas.
Heather has been a past and present member of: Junior League of the Palm Beaches, Susan Greenberg-Gamot Family Law American Inn of Court, Florida Bar Family Law Section, Palm Beach County Bar Association, and serves on the social media committee for the Florida Association for Women Lawyers of Palm Beach County. Heather serves clients on a limited basis in Palm Beach County, Florida; Dallas County, and Harris County, Texas.
